Privacy, in plain words.

This notice describes the Pocket Puzzles website and the current private game tests operated by JA Williams. It covers PetalPatch, Tensway, and Looplet Puzzle.

Your game on your device

Game progress, personal bests, preferences, garden discoveries, and test-play balances are stored on your device. They let you resume a game and retain your progress. Clearing app or browser data can erase these records.

Optional online leaderboard testing

Online testing is disabled in builds that are not configured for it. In a configured build, you can choose to join the private leaderboard test. This creates a device-linked account with a generated player name through Supabase. No email address or password is requested for that game account.

Approved testers receive server-generated games. Completed ranked games submit their sequence of moves to verify the score. The database keeps the player ID, generated name, game identifier, rules version, starting seed, score, submission fingerprint, and server timestamps. The replay is processed for verification; it is not stored as a database history. Infrastructure providers may retain operational logs.

Your generated name, best qualifying score, and rank are visible to other approved testers. Daily and yearly periods use UTC. Local games started without online ranking do not upload their scores retrospectively. Pending completed ranked games can retry when you reconnect.

Test records remain until removed during testing or in response to a verified deletion request. Contact williamsja202@gmail.com with your player name to request removal. Clearing local data does not erase server records and may remove your access to that player identity.

Ads and test plays

The current browser preview uses a simulated reward button, not advertising. It awards test plays and earns no advertising revenue. These balances are not money and cannot be transferred or redeemed. Actual MAX ads are not active in these tests. This notice will be updated before an ad-enabled test is distributed to explain the providers, data use, and available privacy choices.

This website and support

The site has no account form, advertising, analytics script, or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site. If you email support, your email address and message are used to respond and investigate your request.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the website. Supabase provides authentication and database services when online testing is enabled. Their services may process technical connection data. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Supabase’s privacy policy. Apple’s TestFlight service has its own testing and diagnostic data practices.
